What Has Happened to our Country?

As far as I can tell our Country has gone down the path of no return unless we realize there is no country that can turn it’s back on God and survive. Our country was conceived in the hearts of those that wanted religious freedom. But just religious freedom without the proper subject of the purpose was and is still futility. To propose or have freedom to look to a deity for purpose in life who is not the true God of the universe is what is causing all the current problems. Unless we go back to our roots we may as well surrender everything we believe in and call it a day. Our country today worships man, money and self in such magnitude that God is largely forgotten. People pray when they are in trouble, but they forget to pray in thanksgiving, worship and entreating for the needs of others. I am not saying everyone is guilty, because they are not, but I am saying that our country needs to re-evaluate where they stand with God and what they really believe in and whom they believe in. We are rampant with humanism and false doctrine, which takes God out of everything that our country needs to survive. When will we come to our senses and return to the God of our Fathers.?

When I was small we prayed in school, recited the pledge of allegiance, and believed that God was to be involved in everything that we were involved in. When I was young, the word gay meant happy and you could call someone happy and gay and not fear that you would be called down for it or have to worry that your government would prosecute you and call it a hate crime. Yes, there were people of other sexual orientation, but no one flaunted it in your face. Even though they were perverted and sinful, they knew to keep it quiet and concealed. I know that there were abortions being done, but they too, were few and far between, because people respected human life and people thanked God for the privilege of bringing another human into the world and raising him or her to be good people and good citizens. Now they go to a so called doctor who kill the beautiful babies that God places in their wombs and dispose of them like garbage. They do all of this because they are not convenient but in the way of an agenda, career or life style. How utterly selfish and cruel and last but not the least, sinful against a loving and kind God

I know that God has blessed many in the world with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, 30 some years ago, because I was part of the anointing that God sent in the early 70s, but somehow I think we have lost our way since them. The word of God tells us that anything God gives you He does not take back. If you had it then, you have it now. It may be buried in your heart, spirit or memory, but it is time for re-freshening and returning to the anointing again. Do you realize how we could turn our country back to God if all of us that have the anointing would go into doing spiritual warfare? I can tell you from past experiences that this country would turn from its destructive attitude and return to God. If this is the path that God has for us as far as the shape our country is in because it is so close to the end times, we will have to live with that, but we do not need to stay away from the precious God who gave us this glorious country. What has happened to it is a result of our sin and complacency, but we need to go to our country’s end, in these latter days full of the spirit and love that God has given us from His storehouse of grace. We need to pray for those that have gone the way of the flesh, humanism and atrocious sin, and help them find their way back to the God who eagerly waits for their return to the fold. I am so very weary of the things that I see around me and know that it is a matter of diligent prayer by those who know what prayer and spiritual warfare can do, to bring many back to God.

Should we wait until it is too late or shall we pray and do the work of God while it still day? Our dear country is currently covered with a sense of futility and ugliness. Only the prayers and heartfelt pleas of the saved and true Christians will bring the change that our country needs to return to the King and Lord of our land, Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith.

As I type this I am reminded that people that speak so openly and radically often get into trouble. I am telling you right now, that I am an 81year old woman and I refuse to fear what others think of me. I do care what God thinks of me though, and I tell you this so you may hopefully turn your back on the destructive behavior and attitude that you now live with and that you may see the folly of your present condition and turn around and re-take the narrow road that leads to God and eternal happiness with Him forever.

May I now count on you who are anointed and inspired to walk this road together and pray, fight the enemy of our faith and country and see the fruit of our faith blossom before our very eyes and hearts?
